An explanation of Breathwork

Breathwork is an ancient practice of various breathing techniques in which the conscious control of breathing in a manner that influences a person’s mental, emotional, or physical state, with a therapeutic and meditative effect.

It has been practiced in every corner of the world since the dawn of time. From the Tibetan Monks to the American Indians and Australian Aboriginal tribes. African tribes had their own techniques for training impi warriors for speed and stealth. The Roman Gladiators technique of running for miles with water in their mouths to ensure nasal breathing.

Breathwork is the foundation to health and longevity. Optimal breathing is vital for the release of toxins, balanced body Ph, and correct levels of blood gases.
