1154 How the media is handled in Tibet
In this meditation, Geoff is shown the situation with instant understanding

This is Tibet. And out there they don’t have media. They don’t have… I mean they have like one television station which is Chinese. So they don’t listen to media. They do their own thing. They get together in little groups, villages, and their harmony, their peace, their solace
is in these little villages. That’s their home. And what’s outside of that is not important. It’s not important to them because they can’t affect any changes that need doing outside of their own environment. So they’re very comfortable doing that.
And it makes a lot of sense because they’re much more peaceful. And they don’t store any anger and so there’s a much better energy when you go to that particular country in general. So, it’s peaceful now. The Tibetans have been living with Chinese occupiers for many years. The Chinese occupiers, they just believe what the state tells them, they do what they think is the right thing to do, but they don’t actually think for themselves, they do what they’re told, put it that way. Whereas the Tibetan people think, and they look at each particular thing, because this is the way they are brought up, that everything is a living thing and everything must be considered, and so they look at all the different things going on, and then they make their own decisions, they make up their own minds and they will discuss it with other people in their particular village or group and then come to a general consensus of what that particular problem or situation is. And so therefore it’s not something which becomes a problem. You don’t have two particular sides arguing about it. They all agree, the average sort of consensus says, right, this is what it’s gonna be, and they all just accept that, because they accept the majority, and that stops any arguing, confrontations and so on. So that’s very nice. Now, in a society where you have arguments and confrontations, because they don’t have what the Tibetan people have, that builds up negative energies, and over time, they just get worse and worse and worse.
So that’s when you go to an area, you can feel there is much more negativity. So you get an area like the Projects, for example, in cities where you get all these African-Americans packed in side by side, and that creates anger all the time, and you can just feel when you go in there the horrible anger which is in that particular area. People have just got used to it, but they don’t think about it, they don’t consider why the anger is there, and that’s one thing that will push them to a limit.
So that anger is going to get worse and worse until they start to see the opposite. And then that starts to spread and they start to see, well this is not so bad and we can change it, it’s up to us and so on and so on. And that’s how that starts to change.

It just shows how we pick up other people’s stuff all the time.
