1605 How is China doing?

Spirit: Good. Now, let’s have a quick look at China. Now, we did China yesterday, didn’t we?

 

S: We did a bit, yeah.

 

Spirit: China is very unsure at the moment. Of course, it all depends on the Russia-Ukraine war as well. The outcome of that.

 

S: But they’re just sitting there waiting.

 

Spirit: Yeah. Because there’s a lot of problems between them and Taiwan, of course. And also, a lot of their investments around the world. And what they’re heading for is a huge reduction in workforce. Because they brought in this rule of only having one child, their population stopped growing. It was growing when they were having two and three-four children. But when it was reduced to one, what’s happened is your workforce is going to be seriously diminished as people retire. And there’s nobody there to replace it.

 

So what do they do when that happens? Suddenly they’re short of a lot of workforce, so the country can’t progress and grow and so on. So, it has to either get an outside workforce, either by investing in another country or dominating and going to war.

 

S: See, they messed with nature.

 

Spirit: They did indeed. You must never do that, yes. Yeah, so that’s their problem.

 

S: Shew.

 

Spirit: So, the world is in complete turmoil.

 

S: People make choices. And for countries, without thinking of the outcome. And people do that in everyday lives, but that’s only looking at a country and not foreseeing what it’s going to create.

 

Spirit: Yeah, it’s because there’s so much to it. There are so many decisions being made. And so many, everybody is planning for the day, not so much for the future. There’s so much to be done. And a lot of things just aren’t researched enough, overlooked, or.. if you just take what we’ve been discussing the last few years with your health department, where cigarettes were made, it’s supposed to be beneficial for the people. No research goes any further, that it causes a lot of other diseases.

 

But that is why governments have the ability to change things all the time. And they must change. They make mistakes, they change. And often they’re condemned for making mistakes, but the mistakes are far beneficial. I mean, what sort of government would you have? One that never made a mistake, or one that had several mistakes.

 

S: Exactly, wow. No one cannot make mistakes.

 

Spirit: Absolutely. So that’s where the experience comes from.
