1609  People v Government energy

G: What I’ve got at the moment is, it looks like the back of a couch. It’s sort of grey with red bands around it, so it’s a bit like a bundle of sheets on the back of a couch, which are grey with red tape around. I’m not sure what that means. So, I’ll go behind you and… Okay, now this is symbolic.

Okay, so we’ve got, it’s like a two-seater couch facing us, and it’s got this thing on the back, as I’ve just described. What has opened up behind that is a huge hall, which is like an empty parliament. And this is where all the decisions are made for each country, etc. Again, symbolic, but we have to work out what this couch means and why it’s got its back to parliament.

Okay, it means that people are facing the other way, they’ve got their back to parliament. And there are not many of them. Because the people, what they see is parliament on one side, and they’re on another side. They see this big difference between themselves and our little government, is the correct term. And it’s mostly a difference, and they don’t realise that they are, what they should be, is part of that government.

S: Mmm.

Spirit: And that’s why they have to elect their MP’s, their Presidents and so on to run the governments. Now, the red and grey on the back is… The red and grey on the back is comfort. So you’ve got an ordinary sofa, and it’s got a very comfortable back. So the people are content, if you’d like, to leave, well they’ve been content to just leave the running of the country to these other people.

Now they’re going to take a much better interest. But the interest, because of this new, softer approach, what they’re going to learn, the new approach in dealing with the government is not, we’re going to strike and we demand this, and we’re going to do this, that and the other. It’s a matter of going to government and saying, we have a better idea. Look at this and see if this will improve everybody’s lives.

So the attitude of the people, which is part of this change, will change quite a bit. They will have a far better attitude, which won’t annoy the government so much. Governments do the best that they can to make things right for as many people as they can, but they can’t please everybody. But they get an awful lot of abuse from the people, because the people, when things go wrong, when the government don’t do what they’re supposed to do, the people themselves do riot and loot and so on.

This is the opposite of what we were discussing just now. When there is disharmony, the people will riot and they will overthrow the government, etc. Now in a situation where the people themselves are not going to overthrow the government, they’re going to be nicer to the government and get the government to change policies and improve everybody’s life. So there’s going to be quite a change there. It’s going to narrow the gap between the man in the street and the governing parties.

S: Mmm.

G: I’ve just gone into this huge chamber, which is empty, and basically it’s all a waiting. That’s what they’re saying. So the change will be from the ground upwards. It seems to have just come to an abrupt end. That is most unusual.
