1870B. A nice chat with an Amish girl about frustration

Part of a nice evening’s meditation where several visitors share their experiences with us.

 

(Geoff) I have a young girl here. She’s in a corner. She looks a bit Amish, right? She says, yes, she’s Amish.

 

She doesn’t know what to do. I’m not sure if she committed suicide or wants to.

 

No, okay. She’s run away. So, basically, she’s found the Amish thing.

 

Okay, let’s go back a little bit. She came down knowing what she was getting into, and she lived this life of being Amish right up to the age of twenty-five.

 

And now it is driving her nuts. Because she understands so much more. Amish are so rigid in their thinking. It’s just so, so, so frustrating. She just wants to run away and do something else.

 

So, the point is that she’s saying, I understand exactly what you’re going through. You’re trying to teach all these people all the things that you know, for a fact it is correct. And they are just being stubborn out there. They’re not listening. And I know it’s going to get increasingly more frustrating. She said, look, from my point of view, I have very little choice.

 

I can’t get through to these people. For me, it’s just experience. And the sooner I can escape from these Amish people and move on, the better.

 

And that is exactly what I’m going to do. And that is the reason that I had to come and talk to you and just tell you that I understand exactly what you’re going through. Now, there are many others.

 

Now that you have reached this level, where we can casually come and chat, this is sort of the beginning of you being able to connect all the time to our side. And it’s just going to happen more. It’s going to be more and more casual too.

 

And so, you’re able to talk to people who have had similar experiences. Same as us, a young Japanese man in WW2, and me, an Amish girl.

 

And you’re able to get our opinions and we’re able to help and pass on information. Now, of course, you have to have experience because that’s what you’re trying to do. But what we’re giving you is a bit more information to experience from a different level.

 

You have information to get across. You want to teach people what’s understandable. And you just want to be able to do it and understand how they are feeling.

 

So, what I can do, from what I can see of what you’re about to do, and what you’re about to go through, is you must just simply take it. It’s going to happen. But your frustration at the moment is making money to survive.

 

But we will make a plan. For them, just enjoying the day simplifies the whole thing.

 

You see, we don’t have money on our side. So, it’s not always considered as much as it should be with the work that you have to do.  As we have said – trust us and we will look after you.

 

But take things a little bit easier and don’t worry about them. You’ll get through to the people. It’s just a matter of time. If you can imagine ink running onto a bathroom sponge, you can just visualize that.

 

It starts to seep through all the holes. It doesn’t come out all of them at once. It starts to slowly seep through and just get bigger and bigger and bigger.

 

Same sort of thing is going to happen. It’s going to be absolutely beautiful. So, take your time, please. Don’t stress.

 

Otherwise, you’ll be as bad as me. Okay. That’s all I have.
