Transformational Coaching
Transformational coaching is a holistic and future-oriented approach to personal development that empowers individuals to break free from limiting patterns and step into their most authentic, evolved selves (Cox, Bachkirova, & Clutterbuck, 2018). As a transformational coach, I support clients in raising self-awareness through powerful questioning, intention setting, and deep reflection and feeling (Stober & Grant, 2006). Whether navigating compassionate leadership, emotional intelligence raising (Goleman, 2006), self love and worthiness topics to trauma, burnout, career shifts, or spiritual emergence (Lukoff, 2007), I guide clients through customized journeys rooted in their goals and readiness for change.
Many of my clients choose to combine coaching with plant medicine work for deeper somatic and emotional breakthroughs, but this is optional and always client-led. Typically, traditional coaching works without plant medicine and comes in 10-session packages of 60mins to 90mins each where each session is designed with a clear topic, intention, and practical outcomes. There may be integration “homework” to support progress between sessions. This approach differs from therapy, which often focuses on past wounds and the why questions, and differs from mentoring, which offers direct advice. Coaching is instead present-forward, co-creative, and outcome-driven (Iordanou, Hawley, & Iordanou, 2017). Compared to others, I bring a trauma-informed lens and a spiritual grounding to each session, informed by my diverse background in fintech, academia, and healing arts. My practice is particularly attuned to those feeling stuck, or exploring major life transitions like career reinvention or spiritual awakening (Gorman et al., 2021; Watts et al., 2022). As a coach, I don’t offer answers—I help you to uncover your own.
